MEET KELSIE HUNT
Hi, I’m Kelsie Hunt, founder of Hunting for Hope and a pre-licensed professional counselor based in Bozeman. I offer virtual and in-person therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship struggles, family conflict, and major life transitions.
My work is especially focused on supporting women healing from emotional abuse, domestic violence, family estrangement, and toxic relationship dynamics. However I see a wide variety of people and I encourage you to view my menu to see the populations I serve and the areas I specialize in.
Overall, I help clients learn how to set boundaries with defensive or emotionally avoidant family members while also navigating the grief, guilt, loneliness, and identity shifts that can come with creating distance from unhealthy relationships.
Please note that therapy with me is practical, direct, and deeply human. I don’t just listen & nod—I help you understand what’s happening in your mind and body so you can build clarity, confidence, and tools that actually support your healing and daily life. This can look like back and forth conversation, me challenging you and creating space for you to be uncomfortable while you unfold parts of your life you have kept hidden. My space is always safe for you to let your guard down but I am not the right fit if you are looking to simply vent for an hour.
You matter—and there is a way forward. Don’t give up hope.
