MEET KELSIE HUNT
Hi, I’m Kelsie Hunt, founder of Hunting for Hope and a pre-licensed professional counselor based in Bozeman, Montana. I offer both virtual therapy and in-person sessions. I currently have openings on Tuesdays for Telehealth Only and Wednesday/Thursday in office.

Therapy with me is both practical and deeply human. I support women who want to understand their hormones, cycles, and bodies instead of fighting them, and adults who are tired of surviving on autopilot. I work with first responders and high-functioning adults who value direct communication and real tools, as well as those carrying family conflict, estrangement, or the invisible weight of a hard childhood. If you’re stuck in painful patterns, shame spirals, unhealthy relationships, or simply exhausted from holding it all together, this is a space where we slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and build a steadier way forward.

My approach is experiential and teaching-oriented — I don’t just listen, I help you understand why your mind and body respond the way they do, and I guide you in practicing new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
My own experiences include marrying a disabled Army combat veteran, witnessing the struggles of identity crisis and depression mixed with grief, surviving abusive relationships myself, homelessness, and breaking generational trauma — these all shape how I show up in the room. I meet clients with empathy, patience, honesty, and yes, dark humor when it helps.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, or relationship challenges, you are welcome here. Therapy with me is about insight, growth, and practical tools to help you live more authentically. You matter — and there is hope.
