IS HUNTING FOR HOPE FOR YOU?

Kelsie is Your Go-To Therapist for Real Talk & Deep Healing

My style tends to work best for individuals who appreciate structure, curiosity, and gentle direction in therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who will actively engage with you, offer insight, and help you understand yourself on a deeper level, we may be a great fit. If you’re seeking a space that is primarily focused on open-ended venting without feedback or guidance, my approach may not feel like the right match—and that’s okay.

I practice experiential, insight-driven therapy that blends emotional work with psychoeducation—meaning I don’t just listen, I help you understand why your body and mind respond the way they do. This means I use activities, whiteboards, homework, drawing- a true toolbelt of tricks to help you rebuild yourself and establish a solid foundation. Think of therapy as a classroom for understanding your emotions—except you’re also the subject. I’ll help you connect the science of the brain and body to your lived experience so change feels less mysterious and more attainable.

Together, we make sense of your nervous system, attachment patterns, and emotional responses so you’re not just coping—you’re learning how to change them.

My space is inclusive to all genders, races, and sexualities as well as all careers including my specialty in working one on one with First Responders such as Firefighters, Law Enforcement, ER Nurses, EMS and Dispatch as well as  Military/Veteran populations.

I currently am a Certified First Responder Counselor Associate via Academy Hour and serve as one of 5 in the state of Montana.

Individuals who feel stuck in relationships, lost in their singleness and exhausted by dating, navigating career transitions, trying to finding the confidence to cut out toxic people and needing support with boundaries, finding your authentic self and instead drowning in addictive behaviors.

I see you. I’m your "girls’ girl or guys-gal". Your biggest cheerleader. I am here to help you navigate shame, abuse, being a survivor, loneliness, fear of looking weak, low self-esteem, and all the complex feelings that come with being a man or woman in today's world.

This language can be unfitting to some, please note I am open and accepting of all pronouns, all sexualities and genders.

Couples who keep having the same fights and feel disconnected. Let’s work on communication, intimacy, and breaking toxic cycles so you can build a stronger, healthier relationship together. I am trained in Emotion Focused Therapy where we map out your negative cycles in communication especially if one partner is shut down/withdrawn and another is anxious or expressive and "fed up", we work with tools I have to explore what is unsaid, what is misunderstood and what support is needed through positive patterns of communication. I offer a direct approach with softness to tend to those in crisis.

Parents and soon-to-be parents who want to create secure, loving attachments with their children while also setting healthy boundaries for themselves. Parenting is tough—having support makes all the difference. I am trained in Internal Family Systems and Attachment Theory with a strong emphasis on parenting that doesn't involve corporal punishment, but communication of emotions and boundaries.

First Responders, Military & Veterans my therapy sessions are confidential, I do not report to insurance and offer cash payment options. I am direct, honest, non judgmental, a bit rough around the edges and have a fantastically dark sense of humor that I feel helps create trust for those who are not used to asking or seeking help. Your experiences and stories are worth hearing and I am capable of handling the load you do not need to carry any longer alone.

Seeking therapy does not make you less than, it makes you human.

What You Can Expect

I’m an experiential therapist who believes that insight creates momentum. I often take an active, teaching-oriented role in sessions—offering education about the brain, nervous system, attachment, and emotional patterns so you can understand the facts behind your feelings.

Sessions with me are collaborative and engaging. We may pause to break things down, connect patterns, practice skills, or reflect on what your body is communicating in real time.

While there is always space for emotion, my work is best suited for clients who want more than a place to vent—clients who are curious, willing to engage, and open to doing meaningful work both in and outside of session.
